Designed by noted church architect <a title=\"Patrick Keely\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Patrick_Keely\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Patrick Keely<\/a> along with clergy, this brownstone <a title=\"Gothic Revival\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Gothic_Revival_architecture\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Gothic Revival<\/a> style structure was completed in 1852 to meet the spiritual needs of Newport\u2019s growing Irish population.
